From the annual Begin Symposium to Affiliate Co-Host Screenings, to Strategic Partnerships and beyond, the Hidden Light Institute, in partnership with the Begin Heritage Center, has developed the momentous Begin Legacy Initiative, a larger movement utilizing UPHEAVAL as a platform for wider discussions on topical leaders and events in and around Israel and the Jewish world.

StandWithUS 75 for 75

StandWithUs has engaged their student campus leaders in a "75 for 75" campaign to screen UPHEAVAL on 75 campuses in honor of Israel's 75th birthday. We will be working with SWU Fellows in Brazil, Canada, the Netherlands, and the UK to bring UPHEAVAL to their campuses.

PUBLIC TELEVISION AGREEMENT

HLI has entered into a three-year agreement with Public Television to show UPHEAVAL around the U.S.

AFFILIATE CO-HOST SCREENINGS

Organizations have the opportunity to host a customized event centered around the screening of UPHEAVAL. This can be leveraged as a fundraiser for your organization, with access to creative promotional materials. We have already partnered with over 50 synagogues, churches, non-profits, and activist organizations throughout the United States and England. DOCUMENTARY ON FORMER US SENATOR JOE LIEBERMAN

Motivated by the success of Upheaval, HLI is proud to announce a new film project on the life of Senator Joseph Lieberman. The documentary will shine a light on the sanctity of democratic institutions, the importance of civility in politics, and the Senator's role as a champion of bipartisanship in America.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

Education is a multifaceted effort. We have entered into six partner agreements with a wide range of organizations across geographies known for their successful outreach and education efforts. Leveraging UPHEAVAL, the new Menachem Begin documentary, our partners are creating educational tools to target their various audiences around the world.

30 FOR 30

In honor of Menachem Begin’s 30th yahrzeit, UPHEAVAL screened in 30 venues in Israel - from the Golan to the Negev. The venues ranged from theaters to classrooms, from large cities to moshavim, reaching a geographically and demographically diverse audience, just like Begin's base.
