About

Menachem Begin was a pillar of the State of Israel and the Jewish people. He was a controversial leader—this fact cannot be disputed. But the charisma, passion, and ceaseless dedication that were the touchstones of his political and personal life render him a figure worth studying.

This documentary film will present a rich portrayal of a brilliant, tough, loving and proud Jew who never compromised when the dignity and survival of Israel and the Jewish people were at stake.

Menachem Begin lived through both the intended destruction of the Jewish people and their redemption. In the final analysis, we will see that Begin was a humble public servant, not a politician. He was a principled man, fighting for the universal human desire for freedom, and dedicated to serving the greater good of the Jewish people.

We were granted the right to exist by the G-d of our fathers at the glimmer of the dawn of human civilization 4,000 years ago. For that right, which has been sanctified in blood from generation to generation, we have paid the price unexampled in the annals of nations.
